| Ann Arbor is the home of the University of Michigan, which has the largest college-owned football stadium in the United States. Bentley Historical Library on the University's North Campus contains the Michigan Historical Collections and the University of Michigan archives. Popular tourist destinations in Ann Arbor include Kerrytown, the city's historic market district and nearby Ann Arbor Artisans Market, which features hand-made arts and crafts on Sunday afternoons from April through December; as well as downtown's Main Street Area, the shopping, restaurant, and theater district of Ann Arbor. The nearby city of Ypsilanti, named for the Greek hero Demetrius Ypsilanti, is noted for its Greek Revival-styled architecture. |
